Our four legged, leashed friends are welcome on property on weekdays. We discourage bringing dogs on weekends as the property is so packed it can cause anxiety for our furry friends leading to demonstrations of aggression. We want all of our guests, both furry and human to enjoy their time while visiting us.

We do not allow outside food and beverage at the Silos of Easley.

Process Overview:

We are so glad that you want to shoot at The Silos!  Here is a quick overview of our process:

1. Become a Cleared Photographer.  Completed the cleared photographer form so you can put in requests.
2. Complete the Photo/Video Request form.  Before you complete the form make sure you have read and understood the supporting materials on this page about pricings and things you need to know.  This form must be completed for every shoot.
3. We may follow up with any questions about your shoot.  The more information you provide upfront the faster we can decide.
4. We will approve, approve with changes or deny your request and notify you of that decision.  We may deny a photoshoot request for any reason but typically we are trying to limit the number of shoots that are going on at the same time so that everyone has a positive experience.

Pricing Structure ( All Prices per Client) 

-Interior Only Photography – $20/client for up to 1 hour of interior photography. (Limited availability)

-Exterior Only photography– $15/client for up to 3 hours of exterior photography.

-All Inclusive Photography- $35/client for 1 hour of interior photography and up to 3 hours of exterior photography.

Sessions or Mini Sessions

If you want to reserve a block of time and shoot multiple clients back-to-back, please submit a regular request of the type of space you want (Interior Only, Exterior Only, etc) and note that it is a Session in the of the shoot. You can approximate the number of clients you are aiming to shoot in that block of time.

After you know the specific number of clients you are going to shoot, please pay the appropriate amount based on the per-client rate of the package you have selected (per the rates outlined above.)  Please contact us by  replying to your permit request approval email and let us know the final times you need the space so we may release for the area for the times when you are not shooting.

Payments and the Liability Waiver are due at the beginning of the session time in cash or check written to Silos Holdings, LLC. You must complete the Liability Waiver prior to starting your shoot.

I am taking photos for free, so do I still need to pay?

-Exterior and Interior photo fees apply to photographers, videographers and other individuals who are regularly compensated for their work and work for clients or brands using The Silos as a location.

-Any monies and/or goods exchanged for photography services is considered compensation, including brand ambassador and other endorsement deals.  

–Photos of the building itself are not subject to any fee structure unless prints of the images are being sold.  Contact us for more information if you would like to sell photos of The Silos that you have taken.

The Fine Print (please read) 

-All photography and videography at The Silos is at your own risk.  The photographer and their clients assume all responsibility for injury or damages that may occur on The Silos property, as outlined in the required Liability waiver.

-All packages are per client and valid for one day only.  If you want to shoot five clients using the Outside Only Package in a single day, the price will be  $75 ($15 x 5 clients) if you only have one client but want to shoot inside on one day and outside on another day the price will be $35.

-Please plan for a 24 hour notice if you would like to shoot inside of The Silos for returning photographers.  First-time photographers must allow time for a tour of the facility before their shoot.  We aim to approve last minute requests as we can but do not guarantee any specific time frame under 24 hours.

–Weekend interior availability is not guaranteed.  Weekend availability is determined case by case based on currently scheduled shoots and other scheduled events.

–ALL photography and videography must be done in a family friendly way.  

-Please do not block thoroughfares or Folger Ave, while taking exterior photography.  

-There is no power available for outside use.  

-Interior photographers at The Silos are required to complete a walk-through tour before their scheduled shoot if they have never shot inside of The Silos before.  Shoots must be scheduled with enough time for first time photographers to have a tour before their shoot, with tour typically given during the hours of 2 and 5, Monday-Thursday.  If you need a tour please complete the Cleared Photographer form and indicate it on there.

-The use of dry paints, confetti, flour and any atmospheric effect materials are prohibited at The Silos, both inside and out.  NO Exceptions. Any usage will result in immediate and permanent revocation of photography privileges on the property.

-The property must be left exactly as it was found.  Any debris or mess left will incur a $100 cleaning fee.  

-Please assume that all furniture found at The Silos is property of The Silos and its tenants.  Please respect the property and do not use or move without permission.  

-We cannot guarantee “studio quiet” conditions.  We are an active community of businesses that hosts hundreds of guests a day.

-If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled shoot, please reply to your approval email.

Why do we charge for Photography?

The Silos is an amazing place and many people enjoy taking photos here!  The work of revitalizing The Silos is expensive.  The money we collect in photography and videography fees directly make The Silos a better place.  We know some will disagree and thats okay, but we thank those that do and thereby make The Silos better for everyone.

STEP 1:  Become an Approved Photographer

Approved photographers are ones who have submitted their information to The Silos and have begun the process of a photo tour so they can capture content at The Silos.  Note that you can opt to NOT have your business listed publicly online.

After The Silos of Easley has  approved your request to be an Approved Photographer, submit an email to info@thesilosofeasley.com with date and time requested.

We will reply with with our decision and an attached liability waiver if your time can be accommodate.  Please fill out the waiver and have it and your payment ready to be collected prior to the shoot beginning.  NO SESSIONS WILL BE PERMITTED WITHOUT THE WAIVER.
